The Law Office of Jodi E. Murphy was established in 2008 with the objective of providing estate planning for all Florida residents, from basic will planning to complex trust planning. Ms. Murphy’s practice includes, but is not limited to, estate tax planning (from basic wills to complex trusts), probate, elder law, guardianship planning for families, disability planning, estate tax planning, lifetime giving and charitable planning.
Prior to establishing her own firm, Ms. Murphy was a litigation and family law associate with Baker & Hostetler, LLP (Orlando, FL). Ms Murphy is also:
- A founding partner of The Donor Motivation Program™of Central Florida. The Donor Motivation Program™works with non-profit organizations to educate donors on planned giving benefits and opportunities. As a founding partner, Ms. Murphy regularly presents Planned Giving Seminars to development professionals and potential donors.
- A frequent guest expert on the radio show "On the Money", WDBO AM 580.
- A co-host of a bi-monthly public seminar "Countdown to Retirement" at Certified Financial Group.
- Married to Matthew Murphy and they have two children.
